I think Yosemite was one of our all-time favorite family vacations. We were there in early June so very similar to your time period. The snow was melting and those waterfalls were just bursting. It was almost scary though how crazy the rivers were!
Fantastic pictures! I have never been, but have always wanted to go there. Hopefully in a few years we can take a family vacation there. I can’t wait to see more of your pictures. BTW, love your new webpage design!
Thank you, Christina! Glad you like the photos and redesign. I’m loving all the extra space . . . makes me feel like I can spread out and relax. White space can have that effect, I think! 🙂 And definitely try to get to Yosemite — such an awesome place.
It’s gorgeous, Kathy — and amazing how cold and windy it is at the base of the falls. We were sweating on the walk up, then wet and shivering as soon as we arrived! The mist is crazy.
Totally agree, Peter — though I’ve been obsessed with waterfalls since I was a kid. I used to buy old calendars featuring sites around the world just to tear out all the waterfall pictures, decorating my room with any I could find!
Beautiful! I would give a haunch to be ANYWHERE on vacation right now. Mountains, beach, low country, hill country, frozen tundra. Don’t care. Your pic is making me long for a book under a tree.
Wow. Looks so beautiful, so surreal.

Definitely, Sandy! We heard that many of the waterfalls actually dry up by summertime, so we felt lucky to see as many as we did.
