Wordless Wednesday: Georgetown in early fall

Enjoying the canals and streets of Georgetown in Washington, D.C., last weekend

And that final shot? The top of the famous stairs from “The Exorcist”!

  1. That is so cool! I was showing the pictures to my son. We would love nothing more than for him to go to school there 🙂

    • Thanks! That’s the path along the Old Stone House. Very cool spot to hang and think. A photo shoot was happening in the neighboring garden — probably a couple having engagement shots taken. It’s easy to see why!

      • Yeah, I can definitely see a lot of engagement/wedding photos getting taken there. It reminds me of a couple of similar places in Glasgow (where I live). Slightly better photography than I could manage though 😛

  2. I love your wordless Wednesday posts, Meg! Your pictures are so gorgeous. Makes me feel like I’m right there with you! I’ve never been to Georgetown before, though it’s on my list of places to visit. Looks incredible!

    • Thank you, Gayle! Definitely a fun place to spend a morning/afternoon, especially if you duck into one of the coffee shops or restaurants for lunch. 🙂
