Thank you, Sandy. It’s seem strange to some, maybe, hanging out in a cemetery, but it’s a truly moving experience — one we must experience for ourselves. It’s also one of our favorite places in town. We took Spencer’s parents when they were here for the holidays and really enjoyed our day. Puts many things in perspective, that’s for sure!

I’ve been fascinated and in awe of Arlington National Cemetery ever since I read a book about it in elementary school. I’ve never gotten to visit, but I would love to. These pics are stunning.

Love the pictures and I will continue to maintain that you can tell a great deal about a country , by the reverence given its military veterans ! Alas , for those living , they’re greatly mistreated by the government and specifically by the bureaucracy of the Veterans Administration (VA) .

What beautiful photos! I have not been back to visit the Arlington Cemetery in a long time, but I feel like you captured the solemnity and gravity I felt in that place on my last visit perfectly.
