I loved visiting the library a couple of years ago on a family trip to NYC. I still kick myself for not buying the lion bookends in the gift shop.

Great pictures! I really love the lion; as a kid, I really wanted a few of those around my house. I was crushed when I realized most houses didn’t have a pair of those to welcome you home!

I love the NYPL and your photos capture it wonderfully. I’m fortunate not to live far from it so I have been there many times but it never ceases to take my breath away especially some of the wonderful rooms inside.

One of my favorite places on Earth! Love NYC and this library! I used to go whenever I could get there when I lived in Connecticut for High School. Beautiful pictures! 😀

Love that third shot. Was that tone from the natural lighting or did you have to use a filter? Either way…very cool. 🙂

Thanks! The tones are actually pretty true in the third shot, though I did use my vintage-y filter on many of these. My original is here. It was gorgeous in there — hard to capture a bad sight!
