I didn’t, Juju — I really wish I had! We were with a tour group last spring and didn’t have much time to explore on our own. It’s on my list of places to visit again when I’m in England!
Ah, that brings back memories. Lovely, isn’t it? I love all the creaky floorboards inside. There was a living willow bower when I was there, I hope it’s growing strongly!
First of all–your pictures are gorgeous–the coloring is amazing. But who wouldn’t want to live there? Seems a perfect abode for a cuppa and a wonderful book.
When you see places like this, don’t you just fantasize about living there?

I loved visiting AH’s cottage in 2009–one of the highlights of my trip to the UK/Ireland. To bad you didn’t get inside, very interesting.

Lovely photos. For one moment, I got confused and then realized you were referring to WS’s wife 🙂
