Looks like a very fun 4th! Great photos of the fireworks too! I always have trouble capturing the fireworks in photos… They end up looking blurred most of the time. Yours are wonderful!
great shots–did you use a tripod?!?! what setting were you using? i didn’t go to any fireworks but did see some from my bedroom window. does that count?
These were actually handheld, Nat — and what you don’t see are all the blurry outtakes of bad shots! 🙂 I had it on shutter priority, and I’d have to look and see how long I left my shutter open… but it wasn’t too long. I’m still learning and just keep fussing with all the settings until I get something that isn’t horrible! So far, so good! And yes, fireworks from your window definitely count! 🙂
