  1. These photos are beautiful. I agree with Sandy- you could frame and sell these. I would buy a “Window in Rome.” Beautiful! You have my excited for my upcoming trip to Rome. Any recommendations? I’ve never been there!

    • Thanks so much! And ooh — Christina, I didn’t know you’re headed to Rome! How exciting! I hit all the tourist hot spots when I was there, but they’re well worth seeing: the Spanish Steps; the Roman Coliseum; the Vatican (and if you can go inside, don’t miss the Sistine Chapel — stunning).

By far my favorite spot in Rome was the Trevi Fountain, though — and I’m writing this while looking at a framed photo of it on my desk! It’s gigantic and buried within the city, but absolutely breathtaking. There are always people milling around and it has a very festive atmosphere. Be sure to toss a coin in the fountain so you can return to Rome. 🙂

You’re going to have so much fun!

  2. I love all things Italy! Every time I see a picture, I think about my honeymoon a year and a half ago…sigh, to go back! I posted a picture last week that still makes me sad that I’m not there!! 🙂 One day…

  3. I spent 17 days in Italy in October 2007 – Rome, Venice and Florence. I enjoyed it immensely and plan to get back there some day soon. It was amazing – thanks for the photo reminder!
