  1. oh, the enola gay…how often has my dad wrangled me into watching history programs on television? as kids, dad would take jess and me on historical trips to all the monuments, battlefields, and museums in a 300-mile radius. at the time it was torture but looking back, i can see he was trying to strengthen our familial bond and teach us something! perspective…it’s such a helpful tool when trying to understand life and family.

    i’d love to tour dc with your daddy-o–he sounds like a wealth of info and his twitter field is fun to follow.

  2. I like the say the Enola Gay is pointing at you and you are pointing at it. I wonder how it got its name. It is kind of eerie and imposing, knowing it dropped the bomb that killed so many.
