Beautiful! It looks so cold though. That last picture – do they do laser or light shows with colored lights from behind the falls at night? I’ve seen something like that at a smaller waterfall in upstate NY, but I didn’t know if Niagara did it as well.
Thanks Meredith! Yes, they “turn on” the lights at Niagara most nights of the year, with the colors changing from pink, green, blue, etc. The falls were pink when we were there — and I saw a little when they were green, too! Very cool!
Great pictures, especially the ones of you. I’ve never visited Niagra though, many years ago, I had the great fortune to see Igauza Falls, from the Argentinian side. I understand it has 9 times the amount of water that Niagra does….of course, you won’t ever see snow there. I’ve traveled all over the world and it remains one of the most impressive sights I’ve ever seen ( that and the Taj Mahal ).
Gorgeous pictures, Meg! I love Niagara Falls. I’ve only been there once but it is definitely a place I will never forget. I look forward to going back there and showing the Falls to my husband and children.
Yah cool! I love Niagara. Mr. Whimsy and I stopped there during our honeymoon. Awesome pictures!

I love the falls in the winter — especially late winter/early spring when the snow and ice begin to break up. Looks like you had a fabulous time.
