  1. You two look so cute and happy together! Thanks for supporting such a worthy cause – hospice has been serving my father for six months and I can’t tell you how much it means to my family.

  2. Meg … love the pictures, and it made me grin to see how happy the two of you are! You look beautiful and radiant.

Like Kathy, hospice means a lot to me because they took such wonderful care of my mom before she passed. I honestly don’t know what we’d have done without them and try to offer my support whenever I can.

  3. As several commenters have already written, hospice is such a wonderful things, and the staff are always so gentle, thorough, and caring to the patient and the family and friends. I think of my aunt who passed away from breast cancer, and it makes me love your post even more.

    Happy holidays, Meg.

  4. What pretty pictures! What kind of camera do you use? I’m starting to get into photography after a very long break and I feel so out of the loop all the time with my little camera.

    • Thanks Nina! I have a Canon Rebel T1i, but you can get great photos with any camera. I also use a Panasonic Lumix point-and-shoot and get awesome macro shots with that one. Remember that it’s the photographer — not the camera — that makes a shot! 🙂

Also, I highly recommend Picnik for editing your shots — it’s free! And really makes a difference. All of these were enhanced with that software.

      • Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely have to look into that 🙂 I’m saving up for a nice camera but like you said, you can get great photos with most cameras if you figure out all they can do and how to use them.

But again, those are wonderful Christmas-y pictures!
