We’re already on the downward slide of the peak, I suspect — last weekend was pretty incredible. It took a while for the trees to get going, but then they seemed to burst all at once!
Jill, you’re in Fort Washington?! You’re just 15 minutes away from where I’m sitting right now, wondering how the heck it’s 81 degrees in Maryland — and what we’re going to do about it. Hope you’re having fun, despite the crazy weather!
Beautiful reflections on the water shot. All the trees peaked at the same time in the Chicago area too. I’m glad I made it out for a hike last weekend.

Absolutely stunning. Weather and the changing of the seasons is what inspires my creativity. Beautiful
It interests me very much, how you can have such a good eye when taking photographs, and how you can have such a way with words. I am very curious what kind of up being you had. I wonder if your talent was learned in school, or through natural talent.
Oh my, absolutely fabulous! Those colors are so, so beautiful!

That third photo is just… the colours are incredible!
Thanks, Charlie — that’s my favorite shot! (And new desktop background.)
I can’t believe how much your leaves have already changed. Ours are just really getting going.
